Facilities Strike Team Grant Programming
The New Jersey Association of County and City Health Officials (NJACCHO) is pleased to have received a grant from the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH). With Facilities Strike Team and Infrastructure funding NJACCHO is partnering with local health departments to provide them with the necessary skills to deliver a broad variety of infection control trainings to healthcare personnel working in long term care (LTC) and skilled nursing facilities (SNF) throughout the State.
NJACCHO has developed a unique Train the Trainer program in which staff at local health departments are enrolled. It ensures that each partnering health department is able to facilitate trainings in a culturally competent manner that also assists healthcare personnel to identify and address disparities in LTC/SNF.
NJACCHO is pleased to once again have received a grant from the NJDOH to help our LHDs provide infection control training to LTC and SNF throughout New Jersey. To see the calendar of trainings, please click here:
