Definition - Under direction, performs sanitary inspection and environmental

health work involving in the enforcement of relevant sanitary, environmental, and public health laws and rules within the City of Vineland, Cumberland County, NJ.

Example of Work – Conduct inspections/investigations, research, and surveys to enforce sanitary codes and public health laws.  Documents case finding and collects evidence in preparation of corrective action.  

Licenses - Must possess a valid NJ driver’s license.

         - Registered Environmental Health Specialist license issued by NJ DOH

Salary:  $65,648 (non-negotiable) / 37.5 hour work week

Hours:  8:30 – 5 PM  (Nights and Weekends when needed)
