Judith Migliaccio is the Health Officer for the Paramus Board of Health in Bergen County. She has been with the Health Department for 26 years and the Health Officer since 2012. Judith earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Health from William Paterson University, and a Master of Arts degree in Health Education from Montclair State University.
She is a past-president of the Bergen County Health Officers Association and a co-leader of the Nutrition and Physical Activity Task Force of the Community Health Improvement Partnership of Bergen County. She is also a member of the steering committee of the Bergen County Public Health Partnership. She recently became certified as a Health Education Specialist (CHES) and is also the Registrar for the Board of Health.
In 2013, Judith has completed the NACCHO Survive and Thrive Program, a yearlong fellowship for health officials across the nation, she has just been selected as a member to NACCHO’s Ad-Hoc committee, the Interprofessional Educational Champions, to help advance the framework for multi-disciplinary learning and collaboration at the local level.
